Bag Tag Program
The Whatcom Disc Golf Club Bag Tag Program for Complete Members evolved for 2026 to better support both casual players and those looking for a more structured competitive experience.
Based on member feedback and growing participation, the program now includes two distinct tag systems.
Standard Annual Tags
All Complete Members receive a numbered annual tag, issued in the order memberships are renewed.
How they work:
Designed for casual play, leagues, and friendly challenges
Function similarly to previous years’ bag tags
Encourage community participation without added structure
Competitive Tag Program
NEW FOR 2026!
For players seeking a more structured, season-long competitive experience, the Competitive Tag Program provides an organized and trackable format.
Key Elements:
$10 buy-in required
Participation requires joining the official WDGC Discord for standings, reporting, and communication
Competitive Tags are earned only through quarterly competitive rounds, beginning in March
Once earned, tags can be challenged and played for at any time throughout the season
Players may coordinate matches independently or through Discord
There will be four official Competitive Tag Rounds in 2026 (Bellis Fairways Kick Off Event, the Mossy Roc Invitational, Blaine, and a season finale at Bellis Fairways or Mossy Roc).
A Top 10 leaderboard will be maintained on Discord throughout the season.
Competitive Tags are visually distinct and cannot be mixed or challenged against Standard Tags.
Why Two Systems?
This updated structure allows us to:
Preserve a fun, accessible Annual Tag experience for all members
Offer a more competitive, organized pathway for players who want it
Click here to buy-in to the Competitive Tag Program if you have already renewed your annual membership.
If you have not already renewed for 2026, you can add the competitive tag buy-in to your renewal or new membership form.
A complete ruleset is available in Discord.

Why Membership Matters
The financial requirements of insuring the courses we have on private land, as well as generally maintaining and upgrading all our courses are made possible by the support of our club members.
The WDGC and all it provides would not be possible without memberships, renewals, donations, and other supporters who take on a share of the financial burden with the sole purpose of growing the sport of disc golf in Whatcom County.
Please contact WDGC if you are interested in donating or supporting the club beyond your annual membership.
